Tropical Koh Rong Beach, 5 days

 On arrival  at Sihanoukville Airport, you are met by our driver and transferred to the boat pier for  a short ferry trip to Koh Rong Island, the second largest island of Cambodia. This tranquil island is fingered  with many pristine beaches, some of which are  Long Beach, Long Set Beach, Koh Tuch Beach, Coconut Beach, Southwestern Beach, Lazy Beach and Police Beach, but the jewel is Long Beach, called Sok San Beach, with 7km stretch of gorgeous white sand. The island  interior is mostly covered by the tropical forests. They are are  home to many endangered and threatened species of plants and animals. There are few small fishing villages which have been here for centuries. The local fishman have been involved in fishing , but the growing tourism on this island has led many to choose working for the tourist industry as their new profession. On arrival at Koh Rong Island, you check in hotel and get a well-earned rest.

The wonderful white sandy beach is a major attraction of Koh Rong Island. You  spend your day to swim  in turquoise sea or simply  laze along seaside. The clear crystal water teeming with many species of marine life set against the colourful coral gardens, make for an ideal place for sea lovers.

There are plenty of activities to choose from, including watching mesmerizing sunsets, seeing glowing plankton, kayaking, windsurfing, jet skiing,…You can spend the time to join one of our optional activities.

OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES

Koh Rong Snorkeling – 1/2 day

The exquisite marine life in Koh Rong Island is one of the key attractions in Koh Rong Island. You do  snorkeling and scuba diving to explore the seabed around Koh Touch. The local boat takes you to some good places. You get down to the water and start snorkeling to see  the wonderful miniature eco-systems, coral and seahorses. They are abundant around  the islands. Getting off the water , you can enjoy the fishing, sunset and glowing plankton. You can spend a full day to go further on a private boat to Pineapple Island, catching a scenic view of the whole Koh Rong Island. There are some   fantastic pristine beaches and ideal places for you to relax, snorkel or try the fishing in a local way.

The spectacular sunrise will wash the night away. You wake up early to watch the morning scene  over one of these beautiful sandy beaches  in Koh Rong Island or  walk along the beach and dip into the cool water. The beach is not only a highlight of  Koh Rong Island. You can join an optional trip to the high point adventure park

OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES

 Koh Rong - High Point Adventure Park

The park features climbing and rope walks but the key attraction  is a 160-meter zip line. You venture into the jungle, following the local walk way.  Along the way, you have some stops to take some wonderful photos, but it is not the best activity in place. The zip line experience offers the thrilling impression while you fly over the lush jungle  with trees growing over trees. They  makes feels like taking a step back into prehistory . The modern equipment provides the maximum safe to passenger.

Today, you can enjoy swimming in the warm waters surrounding  the island or simply hiking along the white sand beaches. They are some of the most beautiful you will find  in Cambodia. The turquoise waters are truly spectacular. You will find that the sun shines off of the water like little stars, making for one of the most beautiful sites which captivate all sea lovers.

OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES

 Koh Rong Island – Fishing – 1/2 or 1 Day

The fishing is one of the major attractions in Koh Rong Island. You can join a half day or a full day trip venturing into the gulf of Koh Rong Island. The boat captain will find out a favorable fishing spot, which is always depending on the local weather and the water conditions. Along the way, we sit back under the sunshine  and enjoy the scenery of  lush  islands and beautiful bay. The boat rider will take you to the fishy areas before showing you the fishing way. You get an interesting feeling of fishing, which is hardly found anywhere out of this island. Whatever you catch can be grilled on board for your barbecue lunch. We can continue fishing or get down to the clear water with snorkels to explore the local marine life and corals.  The excursion ends with a transfer back to your hotel.

The beach vacation comes to an end today. You can book extra nights to extend your stay or take a ferry back to the mainland and a transfer to Sihanoukville Airport. This coastal town has the flight connection to Ho Chi Minh, Siem Reap and more. You can also travel by  road Sihanoukville  to Phnom Penh, Kam Pot, Kep and Ha Tien – Vietnam. These extra services   are not included in our tour; however,  we are in hand to provide you with valuable information and arrange the transfer on your request.
