The legendary Thay Pagoda was built in a tranquil mountain setting and has a long history dating back the 11th century. This landmark still preserves many precious worshipping objects and also presents the origin of the water puppet arts. Close to this sanctuary is the Tay Phuong Pagoda which is home to 80 wooden statues of various shape and sizes. This structure was rebuilt in the 17th and 18th century and still has a big significance of classic architecture. Today we depart hotel at 8h30 or 13h30 to visit the Tay Pagoda and the Tay Phuong Pagoda. This hill toped pagoda offers magnificent views of the surrounded fields, laterite mountains and villages. The trip ends after arrival in Hanoi. |

THE EXCURSION TO THAY
AND TAY PHUONG VILLAGE IS NOT AVAILABLE IN FIRST DAYS OF THE TRADITIONAL NEW
YEAR BECAUSE MANY TOURIST SITES ARE CLOSE ON THESE DATES. THIS EXCURSION LASTS
FOUR HOURS AND CAN BE ORGINSED IN EITHER MRONING OR AFTERNOON. THE STARTING TIME
IS 8H00 AND 13H00 OR ON YOUR REQUEST.
