one of the oldest and most famous seaside resorts. There is a royal residence of King Rama V at the seaside, constructed in European architectural style. At present, Ang Sila is famous for its cottage industry, producing stone mortars and stone extraction in several forms as required by the market. It is said that the granite at Ang Sila village is of best quality so this small-scale industry is widely seen in the boundary of Ang Sila. Besides, the fishing village area is also a famous place for fresh seafood and dried foodstuffs such as oysters, shrimps, crabs, fish, squids, sweetened fish, dried shrimps, shrimp paste, pickled shellfish, etc. with quality and prices in a similar level as those in Nong Mon Market available for sale. |
