There are 3 ways to get from Battambang to Phnom Penh by bus, train or car. If you’re looking for a bit of comfort during your trip, then a private taxi is your best option. The journey will take approximately 6 hours in total and there is some absolutely stunning scenery along the way. You can also join a local bus which departs Battambang and arrives at Phnom Penh Bayon VIP Express. Services depart every three hours, and operate every day. The journey takes approximately 5h.
