Day 1: Hanoi - Halong Bay Kayaking
Today we depart hotel at 8h00 and drive towards Halong Bay, truly one of Vietnam's most scenic impressive sights. On arrival in Halong Town we are welcomed on a traditional junk with a refreshing drink and get some boat information as well as kayak orientation. This is time for us to settle into a private comfortable cabin and unpack for a two days exploring Halong Bay. The traditional boat cruises through Dinh Huong island and Ga Choi island before it anchors at Sung Sot area, giving us a free hand kayaking. We row our kayak past the limestone karst formations which are littered with beaches and beautiful caves. At sunset we regroup at the escorted boat for relaxation and dinner. The night paddle is available for kayaking fervors. O/N on board. (B,L,D)

Day 2: Halong Bay Kayaking - Hanoi
The sailing junks navigating past over 3,000 limestone islands and outcrops jutting out of the clear and emerald water of the bay makes for a marvelous scene. We have an option to get up early to admire the splendid scenery and see the fishmen on a morning catch. The huge breakfast is an impressive way to start our active day. We enjoy the second paddle from Luon cave towards Man Head and Rua rocks. These imposing islets are aptly named by their distinctive shapes. By mid morning we complete our exciting kayaking adventure and arrange our luggage to cruise back to the Halong pier. The shuttle bus will pick us up for a return journey. The trip ends after arrival in Hanoi. (B,L)

CRUISE INFORMATION:

The escort boat was built as a floating hotel in traditional style to offer a distinctive cruise service in marvelous Halong Bay. This custom designed watercraft in length from 28 to 37 meters ( depending on boat) , features all safety and comfort to satisfy discerning sea travellers. The service outlines include modern safety equipment and lifejackets + Sleeping capacity from 5 up to 10 comfortable air-conditioned cabins of which each is in size of approximately 7.5 sqm and fitted with two single berths plus a private western style bathroom + Large front deck with a wide open area for relaxation and dining + Spacious upper deck for sunbathing + Set menu combining both Vietnam and Continental cuisine + Games and reading corner + Full stocked bar.

KAYAK INFORMATION:

The kayaking equipments consist of paddle, dry bag, life jacket, flash light and sit on top kayak or sit inside kayak. The sit on top kayak has a length of 4 meters and 2 or 3 seats. The sit inside kayak also measures 4 meters and has 2 seats only.

JOIN GROUP INFORMATION:

The join group price is almost for passengers who are willing to get the first hand kayaking experience in Halong Bay however the itinerary of joined group kayak is different from the above mentioned programme and has less time for kayaking activities.
