 Lieutenant General Douangchay Phichit, LPRP CC Politburo member and Minister of National Defence received yesterday at his office in Vientiane a courtesy visit of a delegation of the Vietnamese Special Task Force led by its Director Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Duoc.
Mr. Nguyen Van Duoc, who is also Deputy Minister of National Defence of Vietnam, arrived here on 25 August for a week-long visit to Laos for further discussion on how to excavate for the remains of Vietnamese volunteered soldiers and experts who died in Laos during the war time. The visit is also aimed to enhance the traditional special friendly relation and all-round co-operations between Laos and Vietnam.
At the amicable talks, Mr. Douangchay Phichit praised and highly valued the working visit to Laos of the delegation as a big contribution to strengthening the traditional special friendly relation and comprehensive co-operation between Laos and Vietnam. |
