WAT LANG KA IN PHNOM PENH CITY
 
Originally constructed in 1422 by King Ponhea Yat (1405-1467), Wat Langka is one of Phnom Penh’s five original wats. Its name derives from its original function as a centre for meeting and learning involving both Khmer and Sri Lankan monks.
