DETAILED ITINERARY

Day 1: Yangon - Pathein - Chaungtha Beach
Heading out of town we make our way towards Chaungtha Beach. The drive is long and bumpy at times but it is still an interesting journey. We pass many sleepy villages, lush plantations and intricate network of canals which are the lifeblood of the Irrawaddy Delta. This vast basin stretches from the Bago Range to the coast of the Bengal Bay and receives year around drainage from several major rivers including the Irrawaddy, Hlaing and Ngawun. We arrive in Chaungtha Beach after a six hour drive and spend the time for a well earned rest on a beach. O/N at Chaungtha Beach.

Day 2 & 3: Chaungtha beach
The new unspoiled white sand beach of Chaungtha is a jewel for independent travelers seeking the seashore and relaxation. You can soak up the sun and sea as much as you want by spending the time on the turquoise water during these free days. Apart from relaxing and swimming at Chaungtha you can visit some nearby villages and local markets, explore the countryside by bike or enjoy a boat trip to the magnificent offshore islands. These optional trips are not included , however you are advised to contact the hotel receptionist for information. O/N in Chaungtha Beach. (B)

Day 4: Chaungtha Beach - Yangon
The beach vacation ends with a leisurely swim on Chaungtha Beach. You meet up with the waiting for a half day drive trip back to Yangon.
