The Shwe Inn Tha Floating Resort is near to Phaung Daw Oo Temple on Inle Lake. The traditional setting of the hotel will offer guests the real atmosphere of being in the mother lake and observing on orange sunset from private balcony is also a credit for their stay. The drive time from Heho airport to Nyaung Shwe pier is approximately 50 minutes, then 60 minutes boat ride to the Shwe Inn Tha Floating Resort. |

The Shwe Inn Tha Floating Resort offers 37 traditional cottages with thatched roofs and bamboo interior walls. The rooms are in medium size and have private balcony and window overlooking the lake and getting cool wind. They offer limited amenities and have neither electricity at night time and nor air conditioning but it is nearly always cool on the lake.
The standard room is fitted with a double bed or 2 single beds and has a bathroom with a shower only. The superior room offers more amenities including mini bar, tea and coffee maker and a heater, and is appointed with a queen size bed only. The bathroom includes a bathtub with an overhead shower.

The food is expertly cooked, beautifully presented and served in an elegant decoration yet casual atmosphere. The chef of restaurant is happy to offer "a la carte" dining at the request of hotel guests. The Lobby bar is a pleasant place to unwind and enjoy refreshing drinks and cocktails or snacks.
