OVERVIEW |
| Salay also called Sale, is an old city and 81 miles far from Magway and 37 miles from Bagan. It is famous for its Yoke Sone Monastery built over 120 years ago and is decorated with Myanmar traditional arts and crafts.
Near the Sa Lei Yoke Sone Monastery, you will find an interesting Buddhist Image called “Shinpin Maha Laba” made of laquer and covered with saw-dust. It has a height of 18 ft and is hallow in the middle
