OVERVIEW |
| Choam Ksant, a major trade hub for northern Preah Vihear Province, is little more than a large village serving as a night stop on the long haul to Prasat Preah Vihear. Much of the town engages in pretty trade with Thailand, as there is a local border market at Anh Seh, 20km north of town int eh Chuor Phnom Dangrek mountains. The border is closed for foreigners and there is nothing of interest to see up there. Choam Ksant has two guesthouses for those who hardy enough to make it here, both fairly basic and offering electricity for only a few hours in the evening. There are a few food stalls around the old and new markets, as well as more street stalls around the village.
