OVERVIEW |
| The Samraong Town is the provincial capital of Oddor Meanchey Province and is slowly re-emerging after decades of isolation as a result of its frontline position in the long civil war. There is nothing to see or do up here for foreigners, unless they happen to be in development work , something much in demand around here. There are several guesthouses near the scruffy little market, which is conveniently located right next to the taxi park. There are several food stalls around the market offering saucepans of pre-cooked food.
